CERTIFICATION TRAINING

Reiki is a mind-body, hands on relaxation method where life force energy is used to assist the balancing of self and others on all levels (physical, mental emotional and spiritual). 

Receiving Reiki therapy is like the relaxed feeling your body gets from a massage or soaking in a warm tub, only that with Reiki you remain fully clothed and the practitioner gently lays their hands on or around various areas of your body to help balance your energy. 

The ability to perform Reiki is passed on from teacher to student via a formal education process.  Many people seek Reiki therapy for stress management and/or pain reduction. Because of its universal appeal, Reiki is practiced by individuals from all walks of life and religious beliefs.

Whether you want to add Reiki to an existing practice, start a new practice, use it for friends and family or your own emotional, spiritual and physical well being, it is an excellent skill to have.

Relax4life Center also offers their Reiki students; opportunities to practice Reiki outside of classes (such as Reiki Share Nights-click here for a schedule), participation in an online healing circle, an online practitioner and teacher referral network, student teaching opportunities for Reiki teachers, ongoing student support and consulting to help individuals start a Reiki practice, teach Reiki, and more. Neal Harris, the director of Relax4Life, or another qualified instructor teaches the Reiki classes.

In this initial one-day training, gain a thorough understanding of the history and principles of Reiki healing, become attuned/initiated along with learning to harness and direct this healing energy to people, animals, plants, and yourself for the highest good. Includes book and manual. Taught by Neal Harris **$150

Upon completion, students will be able to:
1. Discuss the origin of and levels of Reiki, responsibility as a Reiki practitioner and history of the practice.
2. Identify the two spiritual precepts and the Five Reiki Principles
3. Discuss the 7 major chakras and the process of illness-healing
4. Discuss the 21 day clearing process and healing responses that can result
5. Practice the basic hand positions for self-treatment and working with others
6. Demonstrate harnessing and directing Reiki energy
7. Discuss working with animals, plants, inanimate objects

Completion Requirements for this course are: Upon arrival to the class students must sign in on attendance sheet by printing and signing her/his name and license #, participate fully in all activities, demonstrating the ability to feel energy, participation in discussions, completing of the evaluation form.

The Art Of Distance Healing

This continuing nursing education activity was approved under ID# 673 by the American Holistic Nurses Association's Education Approver Committee, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA. 
Through February 7th 2013.

Upon completion, students will be able to:
1. Write 3 traditional Usui healing symbols.
2. Wite 2 non-traditional, post-Usui symbols
3. Experience visualization exercise to prepare for the Reiki 2 initiation-attunement process
4. Interpret the Reiki 2 Initiation: chakra attunement/spinal alignment process
5. Discuss distance healing, its effectiveness and permission
6. Demonstrate 5 distance healing methods
7. Discuss items needed to work with the public as well as incorporating Reiki into daily nursing activities
8. Discuss Reiki and legal issues
9. Practice using the symbols with partners

The purpose of this program is to assist nurses in their own self-awareness, empowerment and self-care and the care of their patients by providing them with continuing training (level 2) in Reiki, a Japanese form of hands-on, holistic healing, a very effective stress and pain management practice.

Reiki 3 Certification Class: Master-Practitioner Level (7 CEUs)

In this one-day class, receive the Master attunement/initiation and learn the advanced meditations/techniques that Master Usui taught his students, and receive his original handbook and a manual. 

Reiki 3 & 4 classes are available to students who have completed Reiki 2 at Relax4Life at least 6 months prior to the Reiki 3 class and who have been practicing/working with the Reiki energy for at least that long.

Once you have registered for Reiki 3 and/or Reiki 4, you will be contacted via email by the instructor to make sure you are ready to take this next step in your Reiki training.  Includes book and manual.  Led by Neal Harris  $175
